12of12 | april

01. i was up early enough to exercise before i left at 6:30am. let's just say it was pretty early.
02. little bits of snow still hanging on from the weekend storms.
03. early morning violin--6:45am
04. my last glimpse of the girls as they make their way to school.
05. i'm constantly picking these up throughout the house--and i am not keen on them being the marker of choice.
06. watched my nieces. megan was so excited to get in the car and see her cousins that she scarcely stopped talking all the way home.
07. my friend jenica made me a custom essential oil mix. this is her colorful stash.
08. spent the afternoon with jenica, chatted, organized, and let the girls play.
09. megan & tess filling eggs for their egg hunt at school.
10. this photo was an accident. grabbed my photo to take a picture of something else and as i walked out of my studio i snapped it. actually love the way it turned out.
11. i love seeing the first signs of spring.
12. the sun wasn't out much, but it did show it's face as it left for the night. couldn't help go out and enjoy it. tess was standing above me when i took this making faces at me.

my day started early, was full, but quite enjoyable. i hope it was another enjoyable day for you as well. don't forget to share your link--i'm eager to see your spring. :)

Spring is taking her sweet time around here, too. Love your shots! Even your mistakes are wonderful :) Have a great rest of your week.

That's a cool heart shape in the snow photo...although nobody is loving the snow right now.

We are soaking up every minute of spring around here. I felt like this month really showed how routine our lives have become. Clearly we need a little more excitement around here!

Hooray for getting your workout out of the way--even though it was dark thirty am.

I love Sharpies but they stress me out at the same time (when daughter uses them). Kind of distracts from their appeal.

Love it when a random snap becomes a favorite photo!

As always, I loved seeing how you capture your daily life. I think I'd go crazy if sharpies were the marker of choice. I can remember what it was like having snow in April and all I can say is I'm so grateful it doesn't snow much in Southern California.

Amy, I especially love your bottom row. You have a gift for capturing the real moments. Beautiful!

i love how colorful your 12th was. the sharpies make me happy, i always have ultrafine sharpies around the house.

how do you like the essential oils? i just started using doterra and so far i'm enjoying it.

Sharpies are my daughters marker of choice as well. She calls them mom's special markers and begs to use them.

I always love your photos, you really have a good eye.

You're not kidding about starting early. I'm always so impressed with your dedication to exercise. Such a cute picture of you at the end too.

I love how colorful your day was--even with the dreariness of left over snow. Your self portrait is really cool too.

always love your take on a normal day!

The appeal of this project has not waned at all for me. Yesterday was great with camera in hand.

I have been thinking of doing a post about shooting from the hip. I've been experimenting more with it lately and a lot of the time LOVE the result. I wonder why that is? I've been in a compositional rut lately and shooting from the hip shakes things up. Maybe that's why!

happy spring!
