It was a rainy Tuesday. I guess I should say a crazy rainy Tuesday. Lucky for us it brought in cool weather. I loved loved loved the break from the 100 degrees we've been having lately.
We were actually going to go to the pool today, but since the rain killed our plans we decided to spend a rainy day at the Library. We went to the one downtown since no one had been and they have a really nice & big kids area. It was great being able to see how much they enjoyed themselves. It was a bit stressful trying to keep track of everyone. It's hard having to watch three small children going three different directions. I never understand why I put myself in these situations. I must be crazy.
Anyway, it was the perfect way to spend our day. Don't you just love going to the Library? So quiet. The smell. The rows of books. I had a great time and I think they did too.

I love these pictures Amy! How serendipitous that it rained and you had to rethink your plans. I love absorbed the kids get in the books (which you captured beautifully), and how cute is it to see little Megan walking and "reading" at the same time. Wonderful.
I too, loved the break from the crazy hot weather. Seriously, I am done with summer heat come June.
And the library on a rainy day - that does sound fun! I haven't taken the time to just go relax at a library in far too long.
I love your pictures! Looking through them, it always amazes how well you capture people and their interactions. It's got a very "real" feeling to it, not always fashioned and posed. Love it!
I love these pictures! We go to the library once a week and Mya just loves it. She is finally starting to understand picking up books and looking at them then putting them back instead of leaving them on the floor. So nice. I have never thought to take my camera with me, thanks for the idea!
I really miss the great library we had in Provo. It was beautiful, new and had GREAT storytime. The one in SLC is pretty cool- I am sure your kids enjoyed it. I can't even imagine trying to keep track of all three. I never get those moms who can just plop down and read a book themselves while the kids are all over the place- who are they?
BTW, I love the photo from Sunday. Adorable.
