01. I got a late start on my day, 9:30 is when I woke up (late night). Luckily it was a slow morning and I was still able to get a workout in. P90x legs.
02. Taking all the kids, my girls + cousins, back to my moms.
03. Every time I tried to take a picture, Alan would fling his sticky hand at my lens. He never did get it, but it was sure fun watching him try.
04. My sister Jeni and I after some shopping.
05. The kids shucking the corn.
06. Alan was helping Megan ride his new Rip Stick. I actually want one for myself.
07. Flowers that greet me every time I pull into my mom's driveway.
08. Little baby Lewis. It was fun to watch his subtle changes over a two week period.
09. Caprese salad for dinner.
10. Megan and Estee making water balloons.
11. My last chance to get our annual photo of Tess and Alan together.
12. Taking a late evening walk to the park.

Today was my sister's last day--she leaves town tomorrow. I can't even tell you how sad I am to see them all go. My girls were teary all the way home--every year they get a little bit closer and every year it's harder to say goodbye. I was really grateful today was the 12th so I could document a bit of our time together. Man, I'm going to miss them.

I hope it was an equally great day for all of you. Looking forward to seeing what your day was made of.

12of12 | November

01. I had the hardest time getting up this morning and it sure didn't help that the girls were out of school and slept over at my parents....there really wasn't a reason to get up and get moving.
02. I found it really cool to look up toward the east and see the mountains covered in snow while the valley still looks like fall.
03. Once I got up I got to work cleaning the house.
04. Part of my errands today was stopping by the post office.
05. yoga--was not in the mood, but made myself do it.
06. My mom met me at the store to drop off my girls and I was mid-trying something on so I knelt down in the dressing room and took this of them waiting for me.
07. lots of road time today.
08. reading the delightful Evolution of Calpurnia Tate.
09. Girls singing to the radio on the way home.
10. Nachos for dinner. I know Adam loves them, but I am not a fan.
11. Tickle time. Adam came home from work and it was on the menu.
12. More fall colors caught while out...took this in a parking lot.

It was kind of a weird day for me to take pictures of, I felt alone most of the time, but still good to document those types of days especially since I don't normally. I hope it was an enjoyable day for you.

Thanks for playing along. Please make sure and share a link if you're so inclined. I'd love to see what you were up to this month. It's crazy I was just thinking yesterday we only have one more month of the year left to do....this year has flown for me.

tuesday randoms

*It's not quite 7pm, but I'm already in my pjs ready to curl up with a good book and say good bye to this day. Not that is hasn't been a good one, quite the contrary, but even a good day can be an exhausting one.
*I think I'm extra giddy that I don't have anything going on tonight. Literally I think this was the first night we ate as a family in like two weeks. Honestly, I can't remember the last dinner I just made for the 5 of us.
*I've been needing to make banana bread for several days now. I keep looking at the pile of withering bananas wondering if they will hold off for another day.
*Don't fall asleep while reading a hard cover book. I found out the hard way last night when the book fell on my face and the dust jacket cut my face. Ya, seriously.
*Week 5 of P90X is underway. It sucks.
*The nest outside my window is empty now. I'm sad they moved on.
*Just asked Megan where Bella was and she said, "she's downstairs watching Nova...about dreams. It's a boring show."
*Went to Sephora for the first time last night while out with Adam's mom and sisters to celebrate my MIL birthday. Never really understood the allure until I went and saw that they carried Fresh products (love their sugar line). Now I'm happy they came to town.
*Speaking of being at the mall...we got lock in the mall last night with a bunch of other people. What? Seems like a serious hazard.

*I had a babysitter today for a few hours which turned into a neighborhood water balloon fight. Good times.
