I always have the best ideas or interesting thoughts in the middle of the night or when I am alone, with or without my kids, driving in my car. Unfortunately if I'm in my car I am unable to write my thoughts down and of course eventually end up forgetting it, or if I do remember it never gets down on paper the same way. So I've mentioned to Adam several times how I would love a digital voice recorder so I can record my original thoughts. He has actually had this recorder for several years now. I knew it was a work thing so never considered using it. Yesterday he left it out for me. He apparently never uses it and remember how much I wanted one. Very cool. I am really excited to keep it in my car and use it. Actually I recorded megan's adorable voice today. Hopefully I can figure out how to get it on my computer and will be able to save it for later. I just love listening to her talk.

Very cool picture Amy. I hope this new system works for recording all your genius ideas, that's fun that you can experiment with that and not have to pay for it.
oh my, this might help clear my head at night. do tell more, where would one find such a item.

wow that is soooo cool what a great idea. I did have one of the oldies....but then we moved and I only have like 8 blank tapes...but can't find the recorder...that one looks really cool

I have always dreamed of a little tape recorder for my car/house. I think the same thing all the time. Especially since everything is always better the first time the thought enters your head. Like papers.. all my college papers would have been significantly better if I had one of those babies to record my first original thoughts.
Now I want one! I'm ALWAYS forgetting the great thought or idea I had while driving, showering, blowing my hair, etc. Where do they sell these used?
